Region II Conference Update

Region II Family:                      

Approximately a month ago I asked the Region II Chapter Presidents to nominate one member from their chapter for consideration to have their conference registration fee paid by the Region.   I received names from two chapters.   Due to their efforts of the members identified, I decided both should attend the conference and the Region would assist by paying their conference registration fee.   Unfortunately, due to extenuating circumstances one of them can no longer attend the conference.

With that, I congratulate David Stancil, Arlington County Police Department and Northern VA Chapter member.   The Region has made arrangements for his conference registration payment.

I look forward to seeing you all throughout the conference and particularly at the Region II hospitality suite, National business meetings, Regional Caucus, and voting booth.

The hospitality suite's doors open at 6:00 PM on Sunday, July 29, 2007 at the Embassy Suites hotel. -- The Region II Chapter Presidents & Vice Presidents will meet at the same location starting promptly at 5:00 PM.

The National business meetings will take place at the convention center on Jul 30 at 3:15pm and Aug 1 at 3:00pm.

We have scheduled the Region II Caucus for Monday, July 30, 2007 from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the convention center.

We have several members running for offices on the National Executive board whom are in need of your support: Joseph McMillan-Vice President, Ellis Johnson-Treasurer, and Emmett Dashiell-Financial Secretary.   I am asking every member who will be attending the conference to please exercise your right to vote.
