Greetings NOBLE Family,
As your elected Associate Member Representative (AMR) to the NOBLE National Executive Board, I am always proud to announce good news. By now you should have received the NOBLE
2007 Annual Report, the first of its kind in several years. The 2007 Annual Report highlights several major accomplishments and initiatives. Most notably, the change to the NOBLE Constitution which allows Associate Members to hold the position of Interim Chapter President or Interim Chapter Vice President in a chapter that does not have Regular Members available to serve in that capacity, pending approval of the National Executive Board.
This is critical for Associate Members and it highlights the importance of having leadership skills regardless of your rank or title within your respective agency.
I cannot stress the importance of having a mentor to help navigate toward a successful law enforcement career. A mentor is likely to be well-known within their respective organization, an expert at navigating corporate/office politics, and a knowledgeable go-to person.

NOBLE Associate Member Representatives and mentoring.)
Late last year the $500,000.00 line of credit was converted into a loan, with a term of five years, for the same amount. Monthly payments are currently being made with a with a balloon payment due in November of 2012. Additionally, a Development and Strategic Plan has been established with the purpose of expanding the current base of NOBLE contributors and partnerships in order to develop new corporate and foundation donors.
Thanks to outreach efforts of our leadership and the National Membership Committee we are proud of our increasing membership in all parts of the
United States, the
United Kingdom, the Caribbean and parts of
Africa.
Please take the time to review recent and archived newsletters written by me and former AMR Sheila Wimberly and Jill Smallwood.
